Schewels operates more than 50 retail furniture stores in Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. In addition to home furnishings, we carry appliances, electronics and power equipment.

Schewels is a family-run company, now in our fourth generation of management. We were founded in 1897 when Elias Schewel began selling small furniture pieces out of his horse-drawn wagon.
