Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at 434-522-0200 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Community Investment

Schewels Home Strengthening Our Community Investment

We have chosen to make a difference by giving back to the communities that have made our business great. Our local community involvement includes financial donations, employee volunteer days and nonprofit partnerships that strengthen the surrounding communities of our local Schewels Home stores. Through our community investment, our Schewels Homes stores are able to build enduring relationships that last for years and grow to benefit our local employees and the communities they live in.

Schewels Home community involvement centers on giving back to the communities that have made our business great.

Schewels Home employees are active and vital members of their local communities. This has translated into successful partnerships with nonprofit organizations that support children and families, the arts and culture, and civic institutions locally.

As they have done every year for as long as we can remember, employees from our corporate office in Lynchburg participated in a United Way Day of Caring service project. This is a program in which local business volunteers take on a day-long project to help a United Way agency.

Schewel Furniture Company employees routinely give back by helping needy folks in their local communities and nationally. Our latest project is the corporate sponsorship of Toys for Tots and local toy drives at our Schewels Home stores.
